Into the future

In the future 26 years from now, if the world does not tragically end or the apocalypse does not happen in December 2012, I hope to be in a great career. I would have graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead, where I would have majored in graphic arts. I will be working for a large company making logos, or I will be working for NBC television in commercial design. I might even be designing credits for movies for Skywalker Studios. I would also be known as an author of a science fiction/fantasy novel.

I will be using a pen name since I don’t want to be known for my novelist adventures. I will be involved with my community’s theatre. Only a few people would actually know that I have written the books, unless I was needed to do a book signing.  I hope to do some traveling, with my mother, especially to Ireland and Scotland, since she would enjoy these places too.

I am not going to be married nor have children of my own. If anything, I will be involved with looking after my family.  I would also spend time with my nieces or nephews, and just spoil them like crazy. In the future I will buy my brother the car of his dreams, as I tell him I will, now, in the present. The best part is that I will have the money to pay for it in full.

My schedule would consist of working in either in my home office or a big corner office in a high rise building.  In this profession I have to be able to understand ideas clearly, and talk with a team since this job is a very social one. I believe that I will gain better experience with working in a group, and get over my fear of talking to people. Then I would probably head to my two bedroom condo.  Play with my Maine coon cat and work on a project for work. When I want to relax I will watch some television, and then draw some illustrations for a side hobby. Then I will put on some soothing tunes and drift off to a well rested sleep.
The rest is just a mystery…
